Permalok Threadlockers are anaerobic adhesive/sealants and thus cure only in the absence of air. Permalok Threadlockers are liquids that fill the space between the internal and external parts of a threaded fastener, and upon curing unitize the fastener. This prevents any movement between the internal and external threads of the mating parts and thus eliminates loosening due to vibration. The Permalok Threadlocking family is available in a range of formulations for different degrees of strength and ease of disassembly. Permalok Threadlockers perform in a temperature range from -65F to 300F and resist most solvents and automotive fluids.
