THREE OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES. FIRST, IT HAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD SEALING
PROPERTIES. SECOND, IT IS HIGHLY CONFORMABLE TO COMPENSATE FOR DISTORTIONS
IN FLANGES. THIRD, VEGETABLE FIBER IS CHEMICALLY INERT IN THE PRESENCE OF
PETROLEUM LUBRICATING OILS, AUTOMOTIVE GASOLINES, FUEL OILS AND MANY ORGANIC
SOLVENTS. VEGETABLE FIBER CONTAINS AN ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOUND 10 RESIST FUNGUS
ORGANISMS.
